About me
Sofia Bertolino is an experienced Advanced Oncology and Haematology Dietitian with a strong background in complex medical nutrition across some of the UK’s leading healthcare institutions. With over a decade of clinical practice, Sofia has developed expertise in oncology, haematology, liver and ICU nutrition, and regenerative medicine.

Currently working in regenerative medicine, Sofia designs nutrition programs to support cancer recovery and immune system regeneration, focusing on anti-inflammatory and anti-immune nutritional strategies. Their approach integrates advanced clinical nutrition with holistic, personalised care to improve outcomes for patients recovering from intensive treatments.

She previously worked in ICU and cardiothoracic transplant nutrition, at the London Clinic and HCA Healthcare UK based at University College Hospital., Which are highly skilled in managing patients undergoing stem cell transplantation, CAR-T therapy, chemotherapy, and critical care nutrition, including bespoke parenteral and enteral nutrition plans.

Sofia has also provided specialist nutrition care as a locum at King’s College Hospital (Haematology), University Hospital of North Midlands (Oncology), and Ealing Hospital UHNW (Liver/ICU), delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Earlier roles included senior clinical dietitian at Parkside Hospital & Cancer Centre, London, where she managed outpatient care, bariatric surgery nutrition, and complex medical nutrition support.

Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from UCES University (Argentina), an MBA from Universidad Camilo José Cela (Spain), and postgraduate training in Marketing Management, the Gut–Brain Connection, and Food Handling.
